歌、舞踊、ライブペインティングを即興で融合させ、身体そのものを表現媒体として、一度きりの「Living Ritual（生きた儀式）」を創り出す。
透明感と官能が織りなす歌声、シャーマニックなグルーヴ、ループマシーンによる幾重にも重なるライブボイス、そして踊るように描かれる巨大な絵画。
それらはジャンルを超えて一つの生命となり、人の心の鎧をほどき、内なる自由と創造性を呼び覚ます体験へと誘う。
SAORI KANDAは答えを与えない。
ただ、扉を開く準備ができた人へ、そっと「鍵」を手渡す。

幼少期より世界各地を旅し、多様な文化と美意識に触れながら育つ。

2019
アメリカ・コロラド州 Red Rocks Amphitheatre にて、サイケデリックミュージック界のレジェンド Shpongle のゲストアーティストとして出演。
2万人を超える観客の熱狂の中、ステージ上で幅5メートルのライブペインティングを完成させ、世界中のオーディエンスから圧倒的な賞賛を受ける。
その存在は「現代のアマノウズメ」「東洋の神秘」と称され、ライブアートの新たな表現として強い印象を残した。

2002年より、身体そのものを表現媒体とする「踊絵師」として活動。
24年以上にわたり世界各国のセレモニー、フェスティバル、芸術祭へ招聘され、神道にも通じる精神性を背景に、「祈り」を現代芸術として表現し続けている。
世界遺産・沖縄中城跡での奉納演舞、奈良・天河大弁財天社での奉納、岡山・吉備津彦神社への鳳凰作品奉納をはじめ、アメリカ、台湾、中国、香港、韓国、シンガポール、ミャンマー、フィリピン、インド、フランス、スイス、カザフスタンなど、世界各地で活動を展開。

Born in Yamaguchi, Japan, in 1978 and raised in Dubai, SAORI spent her childhood traveling throughout the world, cultivating a profound sensitivity to diverse cultures, aesthetics, and the universal language that exists beyond words.
Her artistic universe revolves around two enduring themes:

expressed through music, dance, painting, film, photography, fashion, and ritual performance.

Guest artist for the legendary psychedelic music project Shpongle at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Colorado, USA.
Before an audience of more than 20,000 people, she created a five-meter live painting while dancing on stage, receiving international acclaim.
Audiences described her as
“The Modern Ame-no-Uzume.”

Since 2002, SAORI has pioneered her own artistic discipline as a Dance Painter, using the human body itself as her primary artistic medium.
For over two decades, she has been invited to ceremonies, festivals, sacred sites, and cultural gatherings throughout the world, expressing prayer through contemporary ritual art rooted in the spirit of Shinto.
Her sacred offerings include performances at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nakagusuku Castle Ruins, Tenkawa Daibenzaiten Shrine, and the dedication of her Phoenix artwork at Kibitsuhiko Shrine.
Her work has been presented throughout the United States, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Myanmar, the Philippines, India, France, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, and beyond.
