Sergei Prilepa, better known as Fungus Funk, is a prominent figure in the global psychedelic trance
scene. Ukrainian-born, he spent a long part of his life in Moscow, Russia but now living in Valencia,
Spain.
He began his musical journey in the late 1990s when the psychedelic trance movement was gaining
momentum worldwide. Inspired by the fusion of electronic beats and mind-expanding melodies,
Fungus Funk quickly made a name for himself with his distinctive sound. His music is characterized by
its intricate rhythms, pulsating basslines, and eclectic blend of psychedelic elements. Drawing from a
diverse range of influences, including goa trance, techno, house, and ambient music, he has crafted an
