私の実践は、現代美術、思弁的な探究、そして虚構の体系をつくることのあいだを横断しています。イメージ、物、彫刻、インスタレーション、テキスト、展覧会などを通して、神話と技術、深い時間と現在、生物学と虚構、理性と錯乱のあいだにある不安定な境界を探っています。既存の物語を描写するのではなく、物語そのものが自律的な体系として動き始める状況をつくることに関心があります。
私は調査を、知識を蓄積するためのものというより、ひとつの感染に入り込むための方法として捉えています。古代の宇宙論、SF、言語、進化論的な思考、オカルト的構造、生態学的な過程、現代の技術などを分解し、再構成しながら、虚構が何かを表すことをやめ、ひとつの仕組みとして機能し始める瞬間を探っています。イメージが物になり、物が体系になり、体系が独自の神話を生み始める——そのような不安定な領域から、どのような形態や有機体、あるいは世界が現れうるのかに関心があります。
My practice moves between visual art, speculative research, and the construction of fictional systems. Through images, objects, sculpture, installations, texts, and exhibitions, I investigate unstable borders between myth and technology, deep time and the present, biology and fiction, reason and delirium. Rather than illustrating existing narratives, I build situations in which narratives begin to behave as autonomous systems.
I approach research as a way of entering a contagion: ancient cosmologies, science fiction, language, evolutionary speculation, occult structures, ecological processes, and contemporary technologies become materials to be disassembled and recombined. My work is interested in the moment when fiction stops representing something and begins to function as a mechanism—when an image becomes an object, an object becomes a system, and a system begins to generate its own mythology.
