ADITYA PRADHAN

Aditya Pradhan is an artist who creates mandalas not as works of art to be viewed, but as tools for meditation designed to guide consciousness inward.

Composed solely of black and gold, his works minimize stimulation of the five senses to the absolute minimum, quietly liberating the viewer’s consciousness from perceptions of the external world and creating a space that leads toward pratyahāra (withdrawal of the senses).

Underlying the works is the fundamental question: “How does consciousness recognize the self?” Sacred geometry is used not as decoration but as a language to visualize inner order, and the mandala functions as a medium to quietly awaken the viewer’s inner Cetanā (awareness or consciousness).

The works are not images intended to express something; rather, they are constructed as experiences that turn the act of seeing inward, guiding the viewer into the depths of consciousness.
